Militarization of Police in America: Trained by Mossad

Militarization of Police in America: Trained by Mossad

Press TV

US police forces train with Israel’s Mossad agents, treating peaceful American protesters like terrorists, an online columnist tells Press TV.

Experts say US police are increasing their use of excessive force against protesting students.

Earlier this week, US police used pepper spray and heavy-handed tactics against students in California’s Santa Monica College against their college’s tuition policies. A four-year-old girl is among the at least 30 victims.

Last November, students at a University of California campus were also pepper sprayed by police.

Press TV has conducted an interview with Allen Roland, online columnist, to further discuss the issue. The following is a transcription of the interview.

Press TV: Mr. Roland. What we’ve seen in the last past months is people and, in this particular case, students exercising their constitutional rights staging peaceful protests. Why then are we not seeing America going back on its own Constitution – the First Amendment I’m pointing to?

Roland: Let me just say that the Constitution is being shredded right before our eyes. What we’re seeing here is a militarization of the police force.

You do not realize but a lot of these police forces across the country have been trained by Mossad. They’re using the same techniques that Israel uses with the West Bank people and the Gaza people right here in the United States.

What do you mean? What I mean is this, is that these people are being treated more and more like what? -Terrorists.

The militarization of the police force is one of the most outrageous acts that is happening right now. According to the Constitution, that is illegal. But that has been shredded.

Right now the president has the opportunity to do this – to basically kill anyone without due process that’s been passed by Congress.

This is going to get worse before it gets better, as I’ve been saying for months, as we approach the election.

But also, don’t forget, students are carrying one of the most heavy debt loads of any country in the world in the United States. The average student loan is something like 32,000 dollars. And tuition is going up.

There’s a lot to be angry about, and the police are militarized so it can only get worse.

Press TV: As you said, the case will only get worse. If this trend happens to go on, in the foreseeable future how will this portray America’s international image as what it claims to be the standard bearer and the flag bearer in defending human rights?

Roland: That is totally laughable. We are no longer the standard bearer of human rights at all. And if the whole world is already looking at us with chagrined looks, but not shocked looks, because we already have the reputation of being a rogue nation and not living up to what we say.

The problem is our Constitution is being shredded before our eyes. You’re going to see more and more actions like this particularly in college campuses across the country. We saw it in UC Davis, we saw it back east, we saw it today in Santa Monica, and it will continue.

This is not a laughing matter. This is shocking! But it’s happening and it will happen in an increased level right up until the election.

What’s happening is also this, is that the police forces have been [fortified]. The Department of Homeland Security has just bought 450 million rounds of hollow bullets. These are bullets that are meant for human beings.

So what are they arming themselves for? They’re arming themselves for the people who are revolting against the administration and the establishment.

As I’ve said before on Press TV, eventually the will of the people will meet the will of the government or the establishment and that’s not going to be pretty.

The Department of Homeland Security and police departments around the country are taking full advantage of the unverified assassination of the late CIA asset, Osama bin Laden.

In New York, the police “super-sized” security by dispatching a bevy of cops in elite, military style gear, according to the Examiner. Militarized cops were spotted with machine guns and large trained German Shepherds throughout major hubs like Grand Central Station, the Port Authority, Herald Square, and even in New York landmarks.

Dodger Stadium and Staples Center in LA received a fresh influx of cops. “The city remains in contact with the FBI and Homeland Security on a daily basis,” reports ABC 7. “But officials say security is a shared responsibility. They are calling on everyone to report anything unusual, and they’re reminding residents that if they see something, say something.”

Public rail systems in Florida added uniformed and plain-clothes security officers on platforms and on trains, authorities told the Sun-Sentinel. At Miami International Airport, “we’ve ratcheted things up a notch,” with increased police and K-9 patrols as well as random vehicle checks, said security director Lauren Stover. Florida’s major commercial airports, like those around the nation, plan to remain on high alert indefinitely with stepped up but mostly unseen security measures, according to the newspaper.

In Portland, Oregon, the Osama fiasco was exploited to put more cops and inspectors on mass transit in that city. “What we have done is, working with the TSA, increased our presence and visibility on the system,” said Bekki Witt, spokeswoman for TriMet, the public transportation system for the metropolitan area. The added security is typical after a U.S. military action or an elevated national threat level, notes The Oregonian.

Department of Homeland Security officers were performing warrantless searches at the Palm Springs International Airport on Monday. Transportation Security Administration spokesman Nico Melendez told KPSP Local 2 that officers from the Department of Homeland Security had been scheduled prior to Osama’s alleged assassination to perform searches at the airport in conjunction with TSA. Melendez said Viper teams will be working out of the airport this week.

So-called counter terrorism experts warn that followers of Osama bin Laden will strike in retaliation for the reported assassination of the former CIA operative who died in late 2001. “Terrorists are expected to aim for more vulnerable soft targets like shopping malls or museums,” CBS New York reports.

Security consultant David Boehm told CBS the future may include security check points entering all soft targets — like the local department store. “The reason they’re called ‘soft’ is because it’s so easily accessible to anyone. There has to be security checks for the safety of all people,” Broehm said.

The increased presence of militarized cops working with the Department of Homeland Security dovetails with action on Capitol Hill. The House Homeland Security Committee examined possible terrorist threats posed to mass transit systems around the country today.

“Especially now in the wake of bin Laden’s death, we have to assume that al-Qaida or its affiliates, al-Qaida in the Arabian peninsula, any of the others, any of the radicalized terrorists here at home, self-starters, if you will, loan wolves or organized terrorist operations in this country will launch a domestic attack,” said House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Peter King, who recently held hearings on the supposed threat posed by radical Muslims.

Najibullah Zazi, the Oregon peroxide bleach would-be bomber, served as a centerpiece for King’s hearing today.

Zazi, a U.S. resident from Afghanistan, entered a guilty plea on conspiracy charges in early 2010. The government accused him of plotting to use weapons of mass destruction against the United States. It was said Zazi bought hydrogen peroxide at a beauty supply store and learned explosives techniques at a Pakistani al-Qaeda training camp.

During Zazi’s trial, the Department of Justice admitted that no operational bomb existed and veteran counterterrorism investigators said that important facts remained unknown, including whether Zazi selected a specific target, date, and recruited others to help.

RELATED: How long does it take a cop to kill an innocent man? 8 seconds

Rick Gedeon

When a cop murders a civilian it’s a mistake, but when a civilian kills a cop it’s a tragedy.  This is what we’ve allowed the mainstream media to get away with by feeding us such deceptive hocus-pocus that we accept this party line.  In Seattle and Oakland, John T. Williams and Oscar Grant were both murdered in cold blood with witnesses present and with video evidence; their precious lives brutality taken by the hands of police officers.  The outcome?  One officer received an extremely short prison sentence and the latter got away scot-free.   As retired Army Officer and former CIA agent Ray McGovern briefly stated this week as the goon squad brutalized him for silent protest, “So this is America.”  Yes Mr. McGovern, this is now America indeed.

What’s more ridiculous about this recent event surrounding the John T. Williams case is that the FBI is conducting an investigation into the Seattle police department to see if there have been any civil rights violations being practiced in the department.  Yes, you heard right – the same folks who assassinated Fred Hampton and had this to say after the fact:

“We expected about twenty Panthers to be in the apartment when the police raided the place. Only two of those black n**** f****** were killed, Fred Hampton and Mark Clark.”  —FBI Special Agent Gregg York  Source

The same agency that will knock on your door if you signed the wrong petition or hold “extreme” views?  Is it the same agency that’s been going around the country illegally entrapping credulous Muslim youths for propaganda props?  The same ones who want backdoors installed on popular social-networking sites to keep an eye on you, in clear violation of the 4th Amendment?  A sure waste of taxpayer dollars!

Irrespective of government actions, it was incredibly inspiring to see the brave souls take to the streets in Seattle.  It’s now more important than ever to have the cameras at the ready on the public servants we call the police — the same “servants” who seem to have no accountability.  The cop who killed Oscar Grant, Johannes Mehserle, received a total of 292 days in prison; less than Michael Vick got for fighting dogs.  A tacit admission that a dog’s life has more value in America’s “justice system.”  While prosecutor Dan Satterberg stated that he was unable to press charges on cop Ian Birk who brutality murdered John T. Williams, because “under the 1986 statute, he can’t file charges when a police officer makes an arguably ‘good faith’ mistake, he insisted.”

With that argument, if a civilian kills a cop in “good faith” will prosecutors abstain in making murder charges stick?  Hardly! This kind of thing has been happening to minorities for years and their complaints were incessantly ignored.  This is what happens when you ignore the plight of ethnic and religious minorities.  Sooner or later, the boot on their necks will end up on yours.

Know your rights!
